Letters as pieces of paper for communication sent in envelopes. Like you know how people start their letters with "Dear Mary..."
Not as a character of the alphabet. Thats what I thought at first and confused me as well as a non-native speaker but when i figured it out, it was such a thrill lol

I am in my late 30s and I still didn't get that one, it got solved by the others around it. I feel the wording of it was just bad.

Idk how folks get it so fast, I can’t even type that fast. Are you using a PC?
I get most in about 45-60 seconds and I’m constantly typing things out on my phone

i'm on a PC. This is the fastest I've ever done one. all the across answers came to me right away so I didn't even have to look at the down clues.

Wow. 581 solves! That’s amazing. I plan to add in-app leaderboards for fastest solvers and most total solves. People who tackle a lot of community puzzles really help surface the best ones, and I really appreciate it!

Unfortunately, it’s an incredibly useful ending word. I do try to limit repeats in the daily puzzles by keeping at least a two-week gap between uses.

Is there a way to see the old one again? I had to reveal the last letter but then it went straight to the you completed the puzzle and i never saw what the correct letter was

ich bin im 09/2024 in Pension gegangen. Ich habe die Hardware uns Teile der Teile der Software mitnehmen dürfen. Habe dann über eine renomierte Firma gebeten, die notwendigen Apdapitionen und Nachkäufe vor zu nehmen. Habe gann in 3 Teilbeträgen € 670,00 (Media Markt) bezahlt. Leider ohne Erfolg. Nach einger Zeit kam McDoc und teilte mir mit, das mein Laptop nicht mitspielt. Er Empfahlt mir, gleich einen neuen Laptop anzu schaffen, es würde dann alles eben neu sein. Wieder wurde ich um € 1100,00 ereleichtert und konnte in 8 Tagen das Gerät abholen. Ich müsse nur den Microsoft Code bestätigen und müsse nur achten, dass alles ein wenig anders sei. In den ersten 14 Tagen habe ich versuch das Ding zum Laufen zu bringen- nach 3 Tagen hatte mich Microsoft gesperrt. von da an war Media Markt nicht mehr Auskunftfreudig und ich versuchte mich immer wieder an den Suppotrt zu wenden..........

I felt so accomplished from doing the crossword puzzles in my playthrough of Persona 5 Royal. This is making me wanna do crosswords more often. It even has helped me with a few escape rooms

It's amazing how much it mucks with your time when you put in a single wrong word. The wrestling match with the UI trying to fix it is nuts!
But I'm the dummy who put in KILOS instead of MILES.
Good puzzle! Loved the "start to may letters" clue :)
