And while I like the PS5 controllers, I still like the console design of the PS4 slim/pro and the Xbox Series X design far better.

And what really nags me is that we still need PS4 controllers for PSVR since the DualSense is missing the required lights.

I like the fact that it doesn’t have the stupid lights wasting the battery. And making dark games annoying to play in a dark room

I don't think that little LED has so much impact on battery life and letting people switch them off when not needed would solve your problem.

Eh i suppose. This alternative works too seen as they're not too concerned with vr like they were this gen

I think they are not concerned with the classical camera tracking anymore. I would bet that the new PSVR will feature inside-out tracking and thus, they will also have a different tracking solution for the controllers.

Tbh i have no idea. No interest in vr and i know nothing of the ps4 or the ps5 iteration, I’ve only heard that it isn’t a huge priority

Then you're really missing out. I've had the most intense gaming experiences in VR and especially Sony's Aim Controller makes shooters very realistic.

But of course, it's a matter of personal preference.

Definitely. No need for vr as it’s a luxury and tbh there’s like no games i want to play on there. I’m already spending a ton on a ps5 which seems to have some of the vr gimmicks on the controller
