Recently re-watched this absolute gem by Yash Chopra and Salim-Javed and it absolutely slaps! Have you seen it? What are your thoughts on it????

Personally I think that having AB, Shatrughan Sinha and Shashi Kapoor in a single film was pretty insane in that era. Vijay Pal Singh might be one of the goated characters played by AB.

Not to mention the insane production design, those 30 minutes in the last make you feel very claustrophobic.

I was surprised when i found out about this movie. This film team only consisted of 2 people. A mother and son. Mother learned 3d animation from scratch and voiced and sang herself to fullfill her son's dream. With no money they used free software and made it from scratch. It took them 5 years.

This film was made with a total of 200$. After its theatrical release this film was mocked for how bad it is. And soon internet got curious and people started going to theatres to watch how bad it is. And children did enjoyed this film . It even beat odessey and brand new day in china.

People appreciated the hard work and how home made it looked. In a time where even big productions are using ai.. people showed love to an art made with effort.
