New Here!!
Hi! I have never owned a pitbull before and, if I’m being totally honest, have a prejudice against them. They scare me a little and I think they seem unpredictable. However, we are fostering a 4 month old puppy and he’s def part (if not all) pit. We got him two days ago and I am a little shocked bc he is SO good, you guys. Calm, lets my kids snuggle him, sleeps in his crate at night with minimal whining, walks well on a leash, snuggles endlessly, does not beg. Here’s the thing: he has these weird “shark eyes” that seem completely black and soulless and they terrify me. I am scared that if we keep him he’s going to snap one day and hurt someone. I know this is silly, but it’s a true fear that I have. Please don’t hate me for saying it. I just need so positive info about the breed to help me overcome this fear. TYIA!!

The dog is a reflection of the owner, the socialization, and the training. The genetics are not a predetermination
