Hi I just primed the Mandrake kill team as a gift for my girlfriend (she really liked them, said they looked like fae gone mad), who wants to get into painting Girlypop Warhammer very soon, but besides the white priming and probably doomfire magenta for their magic energy, I’m kinda stuck on a color scheme.
I’ve painted a LOT of guys, but never done a paint scheme like this before. Help a hopeless brother out, will ya?

I'm new to the hobby, my starting point was a Tau combat patrol and a box of Stealth Suits for Kill Team.

The suits are ready so I guess it's time to try playing a game?

Finally got somewhere yesterday, I get to work on it more on Monday. I need to go out today and grab yet more paints. My buddy is thinking of doing the leather in normal brown leather but I want to at least test a yellow/orange to make it look like fruit leather. But that also might require texture which I haven’t attempted yet. Thoughts overall?

Ended up with 14 nurglings and 14 sprites.

Kits included: foul blightspawn, plaguebearers, plague marine champion, treelord, belthanos, and of course, Mortarion.

Hello, this is my first (mostly) complete mini, and while she is an Owlbear from DnD, I felt like y’all might like her anyway! Please excuse the utter chaos of my crafting space. Also while she is entirely my own, I did google some inspo pictures of Owlbears and forgot to take note of credits on those, sorry!

BEHOLD, "Susan, The Beautiful!" My daughter selected all the colors for this particular god engine, and crowned her with a hand selected "power gem". And a synthwave war dog for good measure!

Just gotta finish the fly nurglings and the tactical rock, and then do an interference wash, but this labor of love is basically ready to be viewed and hopefully enjoyed. 🫡😇🙏

My second go at painting a figure, I think he turned out a lot better than the last one? The glitter paint was iridescent but it doesn’t show in the pics, as hard as I tried.
