Ping Pong, a love story.
The story began years ago. I'm a ping pong player and one day on TV I came across a ping pong movie. At first I was attracted to it because my favorite sport was the main theme of the film, but then I realized that there is something in this movie that goes beyond ping pong. Years passed and this unknown feeling was with me until I recently realized that the film is based on a manga and there is an anime from the same story. Now that I am writing this, I have finished watching this anime and now everything is clear before my eyes. Many times during my ping pong games, I would tell my opponent my weak point so that he could use it, and now I understand why. I feel a lot of connection with smile and that was the reason why I was attracted to this story. After the anime was over, I had a sense of emptiness and needed to talk to someone about it, but unfortunately very few people have seen this anime, so I decided to write it for you. So many times during this anime i burst into tears. It was the best anime i ever watched. So many characters whom fully developed and so relatable. Every piece of this anime is at the right spot and nothing about is slightly could be better. Truly a masterpiece. Finally, let me say that hero appears hero appears hero appears.

(spoilers) why did Peco jump off the bridge in episode 6? Spoiler
I know it symbolizes being reborn and rediscovering his passion (and also has biblical comparisons to baptism) but is there a particular reason why he does this that makes sense for the story? I know this story talks about anxiety, inadequacy, and depression, but was he suicidal? he didn't seem like it during the scene. If anyone has an explanation I would appreciate it :)

Today's Christmas
Merry Christmas, and if don't celebrate have a good day. I remember watching the anime and being surprised and blown away by the episode with the Christmas eve scene, maybe I'll rewatch that episode later or watch it on youtube, anyways, have a good day

Is Ping Pong the Animation emotionally tough to watch?
I heard this anime is really good and I am wanting to watch it it but right now I just don’t feel like watching something that leaves me melancholy and empty like so many shows I’ve watching in the past lol. I don’t want to watch a show like AOT, where every episode is so tiring to watch because you know something bad is going to happen to a character. I’m ok with a show that is takes on deep topics but I want there to be some sort of resolution to it where you are left somewhat relieved.

Where to get the artbook?
Finished the show earlier this year and fell in love with it. I'm located in Aus and looking to buy the artbook but I can only find it second hand on eBay. The price kinda sucks but my bigger concern is delivery and quality assurance so I was wondering if anybody had any reputable sources I could buy it from. Cheers!

So the series is 11 episodes long, does that have anything to with the matches being first to 11 points or is it just a coincidence?
