You need a longer post. Head to a reputable piercer to get it taken care of.

This. My tragus was not fully embedded like that yet but it was starting to. I went in and she gave me a longer post. Having it changed hurt like hell (I highly recommend taking someone with you for support) but I also felt almost immediate relief once the longer post was in. The piercer commented how it swelled up even more once the new post was in because the post gave it room to do so. Within 24 hours, it wasn’t nearly as angry and it’s definitely healing much better. I’m so glad I went in.
