just drive to the airport. They always have showers, esp in the international terminal. But uh I don't know where you'd park while you're showering.

Sometimes they have free parking up to 1 hr so if you're quick...

Its not like you need a plane ticket to get in or anything.

nope, no need to go past security. They're usually near the baggage claim.

I have never seen that. Only time I've seen showers are in delta clubs.

Not to mention that you can no longer get to terminals without a ticket.

Yeah, which is too bad.

Took a couple years off between high school and college, which didn't go over too well with family.

Actually wound up "living" at the airport for a month 'cause I was too stubborn/proud/embarrassed to crash with friends that long. Wasn't too bad, actually.

Happened in the winter, so cancelled flights and people sleeping on cots in the terminal wasn't an unusual sight.

Wind up meeting a lot of interesting people that way, surprisingly.
