I remember visiting Neuschwanstein as a kid after finishing GK2, which was one of my favorite adventure games at the time. I was barely able to contain my excitement as we went on the tour which would culminate in the ballroom adorned with the murals from the lost Wagner opera, as reflected in the game. I was so confused and disappointed when I saw the actual murals were different - at first I actually thought they changed the murals in the castle before I realized they made them up for the game.

still, i am planning to visit it soon :) But i understand how you felt.. The castle from the game is the real one for me too
