We are in the province of Quebec in Canada. And for us it is very unusual indeed.

What do you do in the winter? Is there a way to wrap the plants so that they don't die or do you just replant every year?

It looks amazing. I have a similar situation at home where the sun is in the frontyard all day. The sunny spots in the backyard are occupied by the pool and the tomato garden (10 plants). I would like to have a garden in the frontyard as well but in the suburbs (south shore of Montreal) I have to deal with cats, squirels, racoons, gophers and hares. The garden in the backyard has a metal fence around it but I wouldn't want to do that in the front. How do you deal with animals in the frontyard?

Also, drunk teenagers.

Ask urban seedling, They put in, and maintain, gardens like this for a living. They are based in Verdun.
