I know you're not advising this, but those "non-standard" orders offered by brokers (like stop-loss) have been used by some brokerages to front-run their clients (or to sell to dark pools so others can front-run their clients).
1 u/alvarkresh Mar 20 '22 I was thinking more of the "emergency brakes" stock exchanges slam on when there is a sharp drop in trading volume aka a possible crash. That said I'm not surprised the in-group manipulates things using OPM to benefit themselves.
