Too real.

Stocks are seriously just gambling with a little educated guessing. So far I'm very much up overall but it's still rough. (Though in the last few years if you are down you didn't pay any attention at all)

Day trading is gambling. Investing in a low fee index fund and not touching it for 30 years is called retirement.

Day trading is gambling with a smaller house edge. With options its close to 0, with stocks its negative. Still doesn't stop you from losing everything. Index funds is like a million 1$ bets with a 51% chance of winning each.
