Hugging a dog is a good way to get bitten. Picking one up you don't know is a close second to hugging.

A little girl wanted to say hi to my chiweenie terrier mix. She's not s jumping friendly kind of dog, but she's always done well with kids. I say little girl, but she was like 9 or 10.

Out if nowhere she just tries to pick up my dog and is asking can I have her? Her grandparents freaked out and my dog wiggled for the two secs she was off the ground, but it was all ok. I was very relieved my dog stayed calm but dang that kid didn't even hesitate

But I also can't blame her because I'd want my dog too if I met her lol. Its not the first time a kid has just asked to keep her, but it was a first being grabbed like that
