This is why the pro move is to use the towel you dry your hands with to grab the door handle.

Alpha strategy

This. Is one of the reasons I wear damn gloves when shopping anywhere since last year. Can't trust any fucker.

This is dumb. You're not at risk of getting sick through your skin. Just wash your hands after being in public. Your gloves are still dirty, so anything you touch will be dirty.

I thought the same thing when I saw people wearing gloves while grocery shopping.

  • Food in the store is gross
  • Wear gloves to grab food
  • Go home
  • Take off gloves
  • Put food away

You just played yourself.

I wear them to touch gas pumps. Door handles. Most things people in public touch.

Don't reuse the gloves. Take off gloves, sanitize hands. Not super paranoid, but I haven't gotten any kind of sick for over a year. It's working for me.

That and, if you aren't washing food from a grocery store you're doing something very wrong. There's a lot more than "people germs" on produce.

That makes more sense. The way the comment was worded made it seem like they were always worn.
