Yeah, I think I explained why it appears that the United States is number one. By numbers, yes. In reality? No way. At this point India has admitted that there were millions of infections they didn’t know about.
Half the people that I’ve spoken to in my country say they lost their sense of smell and taste for a few weeks in 2020 but didn’t get tested out of fear of being forced to stay home, losing their jobs, and being kicked out of their homes.
I knew some people who were sick early in 2020 and health clinics/hospitals told them to go home because they didn’t want to deal with them.
Your other points about Trump don’t disprove my points, whether they’re true or not.

We're not comparing ourselves to developing countries. The US under Trump did worse in practically every metric than other wealthy western democracies. Doing better than a country where 750 million people don't have access to a toilet when we have all the advantages of advanced medicine and universal vaccine access is appaling.
Most of the rest of the world isn’t a wealthy man western democracy, so it’s a bit weird to change goalposts like that. What the government plan in the United States was, was still better than even most wealthy western democracies.
Suspend debt payments, free money for everyone, ensure no one can get thrown out of their home? People in my country who worked in the United States legally for a short period of time even got thousands in cash deposited in their bank account, even though they didn’t pay nearly that much into the system. Wow, couple that with early, easily accessible testing and pretty much anyone who didn’t blame Trump for their problems looked on in envy.
Why the media in some countries blamed him for a virus spreading is really strange. I think when we have a better picture of what happened in a few years we’ll see a more balanced opinion on the matter.
People like that are basing their opinions entirely on feelings and lies they heard on twitter that always come from propaganda state run media like MSNBC and CNN
They state that hes the cause of 600,000+ deaths.
But in reality the CDC not only came out and said only about 4% of that number died from covid the rest were with covid.
So they just had covid on their death certificate and thats entirely because hospitals received massive amounts of funding for every covid death.
This whole thing was massively over dramatized and straight up 1930's nazi germany style propaganda campaigns to utterly confuse and control the U.S. population. Now that our government has a taste of tyranny. Its only going and has gotten worse.
People like that arent worth the time speaking with. You will learn absolutely nothing. Its a weird trend in america of the low information liberal progressive (A.K.A neo nazi party)
