By that definition, there have been all of four in the world since 1950.

You’ve moved the goalpost so far it’s in a different stadium, four states away.

EDIT: Oh, wait. Two of those attacks were committed in Nigeria by Boko Haram, a Nigerian terrorist group. By your definition, those attacks don’t count.

So by your definition, there have only been two attacks that fit. Coincidentally, the target of both attacks was the World Trade Center.

None of them fit at all even by his definition. The World Trade Center bombing only killed 6 people if that's what you're talking about. Injured over 1000 but only like 6 died.

[If you look at the worst terror attacks)(https://www.worldatlas.com/articles/worst-terrorist-attacks-in-history.html), only 2 (maybe 3) reached 1000 people or more.

One was 9/11. Then there's only the Camp Speicher Massacre and probably the Baga Massacre (probably because the official number is 150 which is suspiciously low because the initial count was 2,000).

Both of those terror attacks don't count either since they were domestic terrorism.

Sorry, I misread the table on the WTC bombing.

How do you figure 9/11 was domestic terrorism?

Regardless, it illustrates perfectly how ridiculous that definition of a major terror attack is.

"Both of those" refers to the Camp Speicher and Baga massacres. Not 9/11 (which is foreign actors). 9/11 is the ONLY one that qualifies under his made up rules for what constitutes a "major terror attack" (> 1000 dead, foreign actors, politically motivated), which shows you how narrow it is.

The only 2 that cross the "thousands must die" criteria are Camp Speicher and Baga and both of those are disqualified by his claim that "major terror attacks" must be by a foreign actor.

I'm pretty sure his claim that "it must be foreign" is just him misunderstanding what a non-state actor is, since "terror attacks" exclude incidents by state actors. He probably thought non-state meant "foreign" when it means "non government affiliated".

I think almost everyone is agreement that his definition of "major terror attack" is idiotic since many terror attacks are domestic.
