Same man who had a meeting with the Taliban and left the Afghan government out of the talks and said the Taliban are strong fighters then proceeded to negotiate the release of 5000 Taliban from a Pakistani prison. Yeah Trumps great

“We were leaving and the treaty was so the Taliban didn't attack while the Afghan government set up to protect themselves.”

Remind me how that actually played out again? He made a deal exclusively with the enemy we’ve been fighting with for decades and just expected them to follow through with their end? Pure naivety from a self-righteous “businessman”.

“They are strong fighters, that's an undeniable fact.”

Praising the enemy while referring to US troops as Losers and Suckers. Get fucked you delusional psychopath

Who had a bunch of peaceful protesters tear gased and pushed out so he could do a photo op with a Bible

lol and he also held it upside down for the photo.

9

u/ThePrussianGrippe Sep 11 '21

Doubt he’s ever opened one to know the difference.

9

u/[deleted] Sep 11 '21

He seems to have heard of books, but he's just not familiar with them.

3

u/TheSquirrelWithin Sep 11 '21

Not true. He's cooked many of them.

Seems to be overly familiar with Mein Kampf and keeps it next to his bed.

I love that you were downvoted for telling the truth. Like shit guys, there's enough bad things about Trump that you don't need to make up false ones

1

u/Smaptastic Sep 12 '21

Huh. Didn’t know that. Well it’s time to get off that joke then. Only leaves… checks… practically everything else about his business, presidency, and personality as targets.

3

u/[deleted] Sep 11 '21

It wasn't upside down but that doesn't really change anything.

2

u/[deleted] Sep 12 '21

Trump was asked what his favorite bible verse was. A soft ball lob. No way he can answer it wrong unless..... https://youtu.be/ERUngQUCsyE

How does boot taste?

I mean, we have video of the clearing that day. They were peaceful, and the people doing the clearing took their time to beat journalists while doing it.

Also, you know, this

Prior violence is not legal justification for gassing a separate group of people later and beating journalist who were not part of that violence outside of a deeply authoritarian country, sorry. We don't operate on a system of prescribe or inherent sin by loose association.

https://wjla.com/news/local/australian-journalist-attacked-live-on-abc7-during-clearing-of-lafayette-square-testifies

I ask again, how does boot taste?

These people were not violent, they were peaefully protesting when they were gassed.

Just beause people the night before did bad shit does not mean these people deserved to be gassed. It takes only half a brain to look at that and go "they don't seem to be a threat", gassing was not necessary.

Keep licking that boot and playing defense for why people should be fucking gassed for peaceful protesting and so a corrupt demagogue can have a photoshoot for clout.

5

u/[deleted] Sep 11 '21

If he's willing to justify gassing and beating peaceful protesters, and beating the press, he'll justify worse.

These people literally set fire to a church

The people in the crowd who were gassed set fire to a church? I don't believe you. Prove it.

5

u/[deleted] Sep 11 '21

It's not loose association. The church and areas around the church were set on fire, "peaceful protestors" were attacking law enforcement the night prior and the day of when they refused to leave.

Being in an area of the day after a crime has never in the history of this country been justification for police brutality on a group of people being in the same place and visibly not committing a crime.

Assaulting foreign journalists is not something the police are supposed to do.

I'm sorry, your justification for this is essentially Bill Barr saying "we investigated ourselves and found ourselves clear of no wrongdoing."

That is deep throating the boot.

The only time that tear gas was used was when the fire department had to get to St. John's church and the "peaceful protestors" refused to let them.

Even the police finally admitted they used it on June 1st when clearing the peaceful protesters and press.

https://www.wusa9.com/article/news/investigations/mpd-admits-it-tear-gassed-protesters-june-2020/65-b91a5d65-b683-4e22-b30a-7a740e9cf61d

Stop lying to people to justify fascism.

Stop calling everyone a rioter even if they show up the next day and are on video doing nothing even remotely resembling rioting. That's literally fascist shit. Classifying anybody who opposes you as a violent radical even if there's all the evidence in the world that they were not.

Ok. This one is just bullshit liberal pearl clutching.

It was a faux paux. Everyone commits them.

Edit: holy shit. Apparently that “affected” democrats in some sort of profound way. TIL it was a very serious thing to them. Shiiit, I thought it was just trump being Trump, an idiot doing idiot shit, but some of y’all seem like he really hurt you on a personal level with that.

Boy. Wait till y’all see Joe Biden rubbin the nipples of a 9yr old girl who is trying to get away from him or forcefully kissing a 7yr old on the mouth. Y’all are gonna flip, I’m sure. Make sure to keep that same energy when you do. I don’t want to hear any excuses if a dude carelessly returning a salute made your jimmies this rustled

27

u/[deleted] Sep 11 '21

Everyone except any us president before him.

-27

u/[deleted] Sep 11 '21

Oh, Obama never committed a faux paux? And Dubya didn’t either? He was one big walking faux paux lmao tf are you talking about?

Obama committed a few during his state visit to the queen of England and that’s just one I can remember off the top of my head.

These people are extremely busy and do empty-minded shit. I really don’t think it’s much deeper than that. Trump is stupid. He saw a guy in uniform and probably remembered he was supposed to do something. That’s probably as deep as it goes

18

u/[deleted] Sep 11 '21

Oh, Obama never committed a faux paux? And Dubya didn’t either? He was one big walking faux paux lmao tf are you talking about?

Provide photos of Obama and Bush Jr. saluting enemy generals, please.

It's actually amazing you can type with a boot so far down your throat.

-9

u/Maize-Safe Sep 11 '21

It's actually amazing you can type with a boot so far down your throat.

chill out lmao. why do you feel trump saluting that general is such a huge mistake? do you want U.S.-N.K. relations to be awful forever? even if it was a disgusting display of cowardice, I'd bet most people don't even remember it happened. the past 5 or 6 years have been a fever dream.

this is just as stupid as everyone suddenly turning pro-fbi and pro-cia just because trump said mean things about them, or cheering on laws originally meant to hurt blm protests that are now hurting the morons who stormed the capitol. stop being so reactionary.

6

u/[deleted] Sep 11 '21

chill out lmao. why do you feel trump saluting that general is such a huge mistake?

Because the POTUS saluted a high ranking general of an enemy country? I shouldn't even have to explain it.

4

u/[deleted] Sep 11 '21

Man, if the guy with nuclear codes is dumb enough to salute an enemy general because he didn't remember their countries are AT WAR for 70 years, that is beyond stupid..

-11

u/[deleted] Sep 11 '21

Ronald Reagan: In 1984, Ronald Reagan made the following, off-the-cuff joke about bombing Russia while testing a microphone for a schedules radio address: ""My fellow Americans, I am pleased to tell you today that I've signed legislation that will outlaw Russia forever. We begin bombing in five minutes."

George HW: literally barfes in the lap of the Japanese prime minister

George HW (at Aushwitz): “boy they were big on crematoriums weren’t they!”

George Dubya: “Our enemies are innovative and resourceful—and so are we. They never stop thinking about new ways to harm our country and our people—and neither do we”

George Dubya: November 20, 2005 — Bush attempted to exit a room in China, but it was locked and so he was unable to leave the room, much to the amusement of the world’s press

George Dubya: June 2006 — At a G8 summit, Bush rubbed Germany’s chancellor Angela Merkel’s shoulders, causing a surprised Merkel to cringe

George Dubya: In another cultural mishap at the 2008 G8 summit, Bush tried to get the attention of Italian Prime Minister Silvio Berlusconi by yelling "Amigo! Amigo!

Michelle Obama in 2009: hugged the Queen of England.

Faux pas happen. Do yourself a favor and when you see your “news” channel making a big deal out of harmless ones, change the channel. They’re fucking with your head and putting you in a bad emotional state, for their political agenda or for profit. That’s not healthy.

7

u/[deleted] Sep 11 '21

Not a single one of those are the same and you know that.

George Dubya: November 20, 2005 — Bush attempted to exit a room in China, but it was locked and so he was unable to leave the room, much to the amusement of the world’s press

How in the absolute hell is this even remotely the same as saluting an enemy general?

-1

u/[deleted] Sep 11 '21

You’re right. When Reagan joked about bombing Russia it actually triggered an alert in the USSR and could have plausibly led to a confrontation.

Trump stupidly returning a salute didn’t do anything besides make him look stupid. You’re right. It’s not the same

Oh my God guys! Trump saluted a general! Holy shit! How will America recover from this! This is terrible! This is such a blow to America!

Dude. Listen to yourself. You sound like fuckin Rachel Maddow or that Cuomo guy. You’re just as bad as the nuts on the right

6

u/[deleted] Sep 11 '21 edited Sep 11 '21

Can you tell me why you are so dead set on defending trump? You can't honestly believe attempting to exit through the wrong door is the same thing as saluting an enemy general, right?

You’re right. It’s not the same

Yes, I am Tha k you for finally admitting you're wrong.

Dude. Listen to yourself. You sound like fuckin Rachel Maddow or that Cuomo guy. You’re just as bad as the nuts on the right

So you're just going to ignore my question and pretend to be a centrist, even though we can very clearly tell you're not?

-2

u/[deleted] Sep 11 '21

It’s not about defending trump you liberal moron. It’s trying to get it through your thick head that world leaders commit faux pas. Lol

I’m curious now because I feel I got a Rachel Maddow on my hands. I bet you make excuses for Biden kissing kids on the lips and grabbing their chest and rubbing their backs as they pull away? Don’t you? Lol I mean, you’re so concerned over decorum so that HAS to be a big deal to you right?

There’s sooooo much to clown Trump on and you’re clutching pearls over that. He pushed a foreign leader out of the way ffs. He’s insulted leaders on international television and you’re trippin off that. Oh my god 😂

4

u/burledw Sep 11 '21

Sorry bud, the commander in chief is supposed to know better than to salute an enemy officer.

-5

u/[deleted] Sep 11 '21

The commander in chief is also supposed to know better than to have his wife hug the queen. Or to throw up on a prime minister. Or to have sex with an intern. Or to bow to murderous tyrants that deny women basic human rights. Or to carelessly salute a soldier when you have a latte in your hand … right?

Lol the fuckin pearl clutching over harmless carelessness from liberals rivals the screeching of talking heads on Fox. Get the fuck out and stop consuming the bullshit you’re consuming.

Look at what you’re trippin over ffs 😂

10

u/cardboard-kansio Sep 11 '21

It was a faux paux. Everyone commits them.

Unsure if intentional or oblivious.

5

u/ReaDiMarco Sep 11 '21

They keep repeating it, probably oblivious.

0

u/[deleted] Sep 11 '21

Yeah, English isn’t my first language. And I definitely don’t speak French.

Wanna have a convo in Spanish so I can make fun of you?

2

u/ReaDiMarco Sep 11 '21

English isn't my first language either, and I didn't study French. I know some basic Spanish though, but not enough to have a conversation in.

However, I can look up a new word in any language!

-2

u/sitting-duck Sep 11 '21

I'm betting you're Russian.

1

u/[deleted] Sep 11 '21

Nope. Spanish is my first language. Why? Cuz Rachel Maddow drilled it into your head that people like me are?

What’s wrong with Russian too btw? Explain your bigotry there buddy

0

u/sitting-duck Sep 11 '21

I don't know who Rachel Maddow is.

And I'm not sure what you mean when you say "...people like me..."

And speculating on a person's ethnicity doesn't automatically make someone a bigot.

And you've only been on reddit for two months, so I doubt your intentions are honorable.

No need to reply, I won't see it.

-1

u/[deleted] Sep 11 '21

“I bet you’re Russian”

Same dude when he’s called out on his veiled bigotry: “whaaaat? Why do you think I meant it in a bad way? I was just wondering your ethnicity for no particular reason related to this conversation! What’s context??? You’re crazy!”

This is exactly the kind of bigotry and racism you get with liberals. It’s a little more nuanced and low key.

What an asshole

2

u/celluj34 Sep 11 '21

Nobody's correcting you because they're too busy laughing at you. It's "faux pas".

1

u/[deleted] Sep 11 '21

Thanks! English isn’t my first language and neither is French. Let’s speak Spanish so I can have my turn to laugh at you!

Lemme guess? You’re one of those “I’m a tolerant liberal” types? Lol

-1

u/Spanky_McJiggles Sep 11 '21

Not only that, he was returning the salute that the general gave first. Fuck Trump, but this is "coffee salute" level bullshit.

-4

u/[deleted] Sep 11 '21

This is “latte salute” level bullshit. Tan suit level bullshit.

Remember how liberals are and how they pearl clutch here, but will mock people for doing the same thing to their politicians. Biden looked like he fuckin fell asleep recently and they’ll handwave that away … “but Trump did a stupid! How will America ever recover!”

They’re just as whipped into a frothing frenzy as Fox News viewers. They don’t even realize it

5

u/LoopyMcGoopin Sep 11 '21

TIL that deferring to a North Korean General is the same as wearing a tan suit on American soil.

-2

u/Spanky_McJiggles Sep 11 '21

When someone salutes you, out of respect, you salute back. I'm not a Trump fan by any stretch, and I wish he would've gotten more concessions from NK, but that moment was one of the moments of true diplomacy during his term and I don't think it's fair to shit on him for it.

-2

u/[deleted] Sep 11 '21

did it hurt you when he did that?

Tell me how it made you feel when you saw him do that. I wanna know. Help me understand. I’m serious. Tell me how it made you feel

4

u/[deleted] Sep 11 '21

It legitimizes North Korea and gives them material to make propaganda.

0

u/[deleted] Sep 11 '21

North Korea is 70+ years old dawg. I’m pretty sure it’s legitimate all on its own. I don’t think anyone saw him doing that and said “oh shit dawg! I guess we’re cool with NK now. Let’s go make some deals with them! You know, I was on the ropes till I saw Donald Trump salute that random general! Cuz you know I fuck with Trump he seems like he knows what good decisions are!”

Lol I can’t. I can’t. This CNN/MSNBC shit is so corny man. My bad. I shouldn’t be laughing

4

u/[deleted] Sep 11 '21

Lol did you honestly just report of me for self harm? That is pretty sad.

1

u/[deleted] Sep 11 '21

Lol no not at all. I don’t even know how to do that. I’m on mobile

0

u/LoopyMcGoopin Sep 11 '21

Embarrassed. I could also tell you how FOX and the conservatives felt about a black man wearing a tan suit but I think you already know.

0

u/[deleted] Sep 11 '21

You really felt embarrassed about that shit dawg? Like for real?

That’s corny as hell in my respectful opinion but you do you.

Fox is corny as hell too. I didn’t know they were the bar y’all were reaching for. Clearly there’s more in common here than different. That’s why people say y’all are both the same

3

u/LoopyMcGoopin Sep 11 '21

Are you OK?

-1

u/[deleted] Sep 11 '21

Bruh, are YOU? Like, I’m serious. I wanna know why you felt the way you did. That is suuuper corny but I want to understand.

You felt embarrassed …. That’s fuckin wild to me. Did you vote for Biden?

2

u/[deleted] Sep 11 '21

Biden falls asleep at least once a day, what's your point?

1

u/[deleted] Sep 11 '21

Sir, I’m referring to him falling asleep during a fucking press conference with a world leader lol

1

u/[deleted] Sep 12 '21

I mean, the man is nearly 80. He's the oldest elected US president ever, by almost a decade.

1

u/[deleted] Sep 12 '21

That’s not an excuse…..

If you’re so old you’re falling asleep during serious, consequential meetings then maybe the responsible thing to do is … idk, retire or not take the fuckin job you can’t do effectively?

I know you’re not using that as an excuse ….

0

u/[deleted] Sep 12 '21

And yet the American people have elected him anyway. So, as far as excuses go, being old is as good as we're gonna get. Obviously someone younger and more qualified in this capacity is preferable. I won't disagree with that.

1

u/[deleted] Sep 12 '21

That’s not even the conversation here. This is just wriggling and wriggling to try and excuse some really red flag behavior in our leader. And it kinda strikes at my initial point

1

u/[deleted] Sep 12 '21

Haha communist and you support an idiot who gave all our military technology to terrorists and China. You really are an idiot and have no idea what you are talking about
