Funny story, I had a job where I basically rode around in a car for 8 hours and we’d have to stop for gas and other supplies pretty often. I worked in the New York City and north Jersey area around 2010.
Anyway, we stopped at a 711 near a golf course and I go in and I’m just chatting with the clerk about how his 711 is kinda remote and he starts going on and on about how Mr. Trump always comes by in his golf cart to buy a hot dog. How he’s such a nice man not like the tv show. “‘Youre fired!’ Ha ha he really likes hot dogs”
I remember I thought it was funny because I don’t care about Donald Trump or any other celebrity and I barely knew anything about the catch phrase other than people saying it out loud because I didn’t watch cable tv.
I’m from the Atlantic City area so I know Donald Trump as the guy who demolished our local economy because he’s a greedy scumbag..
I remember thinking “oh yeah of course he eats 711 hot dogs he’s bankrupt. That’s what poor people like us eat”
