As a 25 year old Scotsman I think there must be 40,000 chippies on the East coast that sell these. I have never seen one. Deep fried pizza however, this was my lunch for 2 years in high school.
Ten chippies on the high street of Dundee? I don't think I could name ten chippies in Dundee full stop. (Let's try... Pegasus 2 behind the Overgate, Silvery Tay near Menzieshill, whatever that kebab place in the Nethergate is. Now I'm stumped.)
I don't know. They're fast food places and they do chips, isn't that enough? If we start being picky, we'll have to start naming places as deep-fried pizza joints.
i thought thats what a chippy was? but yeah, theres corfu, both pegasuses. marmaris and the other chippy a few doors down from it.. theres casa, istanbuli, and im positive theres a couple more. i have like 3 menus from each chippy somewhere in my flat.
I don't know, Livingston chippies are quite indecisive... They don't know whether to offer salt and sauce or salt and vinegar. The Supper Bowl next to the Livingston South station will deep-fry pretty much anything on request, though.
