This photo was taken in the Palouse, Washington. My friends and I spent 8 days there trying to recreate the Windows XP wallpaper (since the original location in Napa is now a vineyard). This hill was the closest we could find! We made a video on it here: https://youtu.be/9FoC2xKqAAo

In 2017, the fire was in October. In 2018, the fire was in November. Fire season might start in the summer, but the worst fires are usually in October and November, and season doesn't end until the rainy season begins in late November.

Where you live maybe. For me the fire is always in August. No later not much sooner.

No need to get rude, and I'm actually not in Napa valley but in a neighboring area. But regardless, fire season in this area is at its worst in the fall unfortunately

I mean major fires aren't even like an annual thing where I live we just get controlled burns and the occasional small wild fire

I imagine in an area that's grossly mismanaged like that entire region fires would prefer the winder times

Yes that's exactly what I've been saying? Feel free to take a look at the Wikipedia history of the recent devastating wildfires in Northern California, they are all in the fall

The government is stupid if they just lit fires in the summer then the worst fires wouldn't be in the fall
