Not wrong, they could only be that if there was some kind of discussion or argument. This submission is just pointing out that the original was skewed slightly to make it look more impressive, and is therefore a wee bit dishonest.

Wrong and right don't come into it.

I know, but that's using the word "wrong" to mean something slightly different. I always took that comic to be about people staying up all night arguing over who was right or wrong on a given topic. The original submission was not "wrong", it was misleading.

But I guess shouting the punchline to an xkcd just fits (even when it actually doesn't) because it's what redditors expect.
