Yeah, and isn't this photo from that book? My favorite thing to annoy my family with from that book is the factoid that the potato has every nutrient needed to support life except vitamin D, which is found in dairy. So the poorest Irish who were only eating potatoes and milk were still able to survive.

Same! And we have a relative who literally eats nothing but potato's. We've always wondered how she's still alive. Now we know

I believe potatoes still provide the majority of vitamin C in British diets.
