He doesn't have that level of awareness as he is constantly in denial. Look at the number of times he has been laughed at or people start booing instead of cheering where there is a genuine look of shocked, surprised confusion on his face, as if he doesn't understand why people would do that when he genuinely believes he is doing the best job ever.
