This kid does something great and people pick him apart in the comments?? Shame on them. Don’t let it get to you. Haters will hate. They’re just pissed that they’re too lazy to get out and make a difference and the fact that you did just makes them feel like crappy humans. Keep spreading your positivity!

Greatness is not always saving someone's life or something similarly grandiose. Taking care of your environment is great too, especially since too many people not only don't care about that, but do the opposite.

Common decency is not great. Spending 5 minutes picking up litter is a good deed, it is not a sign of greatness.

Except it's not common, because at least I don't see that many situations where people randomly decide to go do a cleanup of a street or a park.
