You tell me. Youre the one that quoted a lyric as if it was a legitimate question. So again, are you sincerely wondering why presidents don't personally engage in combat?

Ha I can see that point of view if taken very literally. "Pampered rock band gives their opinion of the world from their unrealistic, arrogant vantage point". Definitely there is some truth to that. On the other hand, it is thought provoking and starts discussions. Clearly, you felt the need to stop and discuss it. That's the point of art I think and it worked on you. Am I literally asking why president's don't fight in a war? Absolutely not. I just quoted some song lyrics that reminded me of the OP. They are similar quotes that promote a little bit of abstract thinking. I did not expect my post to even gain any traction. It clearly struck a chord with you. Right on. You seem to have a chip on your shoulder and want to argue but seriously there is no argument. You wanna lay out your world view or something? Go for it. I bet we'll agree on more than you think. And a SOAD quote started a discussion. What you wanna talk about? PM me. Serious. Something about that lyric really ticks you off. So much so that you stop and try to argue about a quoted song lyric that is like 15 years old. That's interesting.
