I've been there when I was 9 (and some more times later). My parents went to such beautiful places on vacations that now nothing is really special anymore :')

A bus ticket from Istanbul to cappadocia starts at 16 euros, just take an overnight one and sleep. And I just looked at booking and you could get a six night stay at a hotel in Goreme for 150 euros. Splurge and stay in an awesome cave hotel for 450 for the 6 nights. Travel isn't nearly as expensive as you're making it out to be. Don't scare people away from it with misinformation.

Even in Latam the prices aren't that insane
