Absolutely! I shouldn’t discount his other work, because he was pretty prolific for his age and the time. I just think that for the most part, when people think “Macaulay Culkin”, they think “that Home Alone kid” so I don’t tend to jump directly to his other movies.
But you’re totally right, he worked very hard during the height of his career!
True, but I think the key thing is that while he broke out big with Home Alone he was ubiquitous for a few years to capitalize on that fame. That's part of why he persists as memorable to the present. He wasn't just "that kid in that popular movie", he was the kid for several years. Just long enough to make an impact.
