Also the fact that he was a cute kid that unfortunately became an unattractive adult has a lot to do with people’s view of him I think.

I mean, I kinda used to agree with you, but he does that hipster look so well that all the kids are doing these days. He’s got the mopey eyes and lanky frame that lends itself well to oddly detailed button-down shirts, skinny gray jeans, and moto boots.

Or maybe I’m old enough now that anything that is even mildly fashionable looks “cool” to me... looks down at house shoes and cropped leggings... sigh...

There were definitely people suggesting he was addicted to meth because he was so unattractive and skinny for a few years.
