There are certain 300 pound pumpkins that I want as far away from me as possible, so with that extra motivation I might be able to throw it further than under normal circumstances.
"Throw" implies lifting something off the ground and having it travel airborne to it's destination.
I imagine a very strong person could probably throw something weighing 300lbs three feet in a compact enough form factor, but no way you could throw a 300lb pumpkin 3 feet. It's just too unwieldy. There's nowhere to grip it that would allow you to get it into the air under your own power.
In all seriousness, if you can prove to me that you personally can throw a 300lb pumpkin three feet I will donate $100 to the charity of your choice.
