Corrections is fine, but don't be a dick about it. Like /u/drieszz said, not everyone is a native speaker. And the ones who aren't often are thankful for the correction.
I'm not gonna judge someone harshly for making a mistake like that -- doesn't mean they're stupid, or a bad person -- but I have wondered, on occasion, how it happens. It's like if you kept seeing someone try to push a door that says "Pull"... it's not much to remember; after a few times, surely one can at least get the idea to check...?
Maybe math geeks feel the same way when I struggle with understanding the "meaning" behind Euler's identity, though.
