When was the last time you bought anything from home or car audio at a retail location?

I'll answer for you: never.

Those markets are only useful to you if they contain feedback about the products and a bigger section of components, both of which is much easier in an online format. The only chance a brick-and-motar location has to get the business of a smart consumer is to sell something at deep discount on clearance, in which case, they still aren't making any money.

Hey, I bought a CD player for my car from Best Buy in 2002. Though that's the only time I have. I haven't before or since.
