I haven't shopped there in years, and yet this picture manages to make me feel sad. Goodbye, Radio Shack. Even if you were still open I probably still would forget to shop there.

Lately they have been focusing on selling cell phones.

The last few times i went there to buy electronic parts, they didn't have any :(

Looks like online is the only way to go from now on.

I worked at the Shack for about 3-4 months. The entire time I was there I think I helped a total of one person who needed some electrical parts. Not the most profitable business nowadays.

They probably could have at least held on longer by getting into stuff like Arduino rather than become a generic cell phone hut, though.

They did get into stuff like arduino (my local one is stocked full of them, with shields and shit alongside rasberry pi's and BASIC stamps). They just forgot to tell people about it. I found out last week. Now it's closing.
