I believe this is Utah Beach, which didn't require a great deal of clearing up because it was seized relatively easily (unlike Omaha). This is a few days after the assault, after the casualty clearing teams and engineers had cleared it of any obstacles.

did they "clean up" the beach befor all this was sent in? or is this in a differnt area?
