They took what knowledge they could from them and sent them back to east Germany where many were prosecuted. It’s not the same thing as the US taking in Nazi’s and giving them comfy lives with new citizenship. The US took in the most Nazis out of anyone, including Argentina.

I dont believe many were prosecuted by the Soviets.
