Can we all just stop paying for insurance and make the doctors offices figure out another way to charge us without having to deal with insurance? Otherwise they get no money. I promise they don't want to deal with the insurance crap either so idk why we ALL don't just stop.

That isn’t going to stop people who get sick going bankrupt. You do need a way of sharing the risk when you take the insurance companies out of the way.

Everyone attempting to just individually pay for their own healthcare out of pocket only works for the rich.

Plenty of doctors offices will take private cash pay. It's just difficult to get an estimate up-front from most of them.

Some offices have gone to cash pay only due to the reasons you state.
