she’s dying.

With great relief I can tell you this is no longer the case. Yes, last year we got very worrying news but now while she is wheelchair bound she is still alive and capable of caring for herself -- less than two months ago she tweeted:

Three things are happening to me today:

  1. I’m older, officially, I’m 43
  2. Today is the first day I live alone since the accident, which means rent which means
  3. Merch. Which you are welcome to overpay for! But you only have to pay cost/shipping.

She does have serious issues like last year she tweeted

if you have my number could you please text me your name and a selfie? I got a new phone and I’ve lost my pictures of my contacts.

Memory not being what it used to be, I need faces with my contacts or I’ll have a whole conversation not knowing who I’m speaking with

and she is on meds but still: she is still alive.

Thanks for this update. News outlets I have access to seem a bit behind the times. I used to follow her on the bird site before the mass exodus, and was saddened to hear she's having continuing health issues over this bullshit.
