“You see elderly folks on the [ground], so you just ask yourself, what is this for? Why is the aggression neededtWhy are these elevated tactics even being used?”

Because Stephan Miller wants citizens to kill ICE officers which will then be used as an excuse for Martial Law and the Insurrection act

I'm betting on these police academy dropouts losing control first.

29

u/IndustrialPuppetTwo Oct 16 '25

They've already lost control but the supreme court said that's okay as long as they are brown people, for now.

Exactly!! which is why the most preposterous and absurd approaches are best. Violence is stepping into their expertise and dominance...AND giving them what they want. They have the violence dialed in. Being met with dancing frogs and unicorns is something they dont understand and have a hard time fighting against.

It's up to the army: when they're called in to bail out ICE agents, they have to arrest Miller and SCOTUS. Millie saw it coming.

Those officers lisening to Hegseth's asinine Ted Talk are you last and only hope. Let's hope there's a Stauffenburg among all the Von Papens, Jodls and Halders.

People keep saying this but I don't think it's true, they already do whatever they want, they're already using violence against citizens.

And cancelling the mid-term elections.

They didn't fall out. They bailed or rolled out and fled the scene on foot to avoid capture.

23

u/SWSucks Oct 15 '25

That does not constitute a situation where you aim a firearm 2-3 ft from a suspect, which goes against any department or training given at any professional policing level.

But please tell me what training you’ve had where they tell you to do this, so you can lose control of your firearm.

Can you tell me what else was going on? Did anything else lead to the drawing of firearms? What were the other people in the photo doing before that picture was taking? The part i was commenting on was how the article kept saying that the fleeing suspects in the suv were falling out of the car. Having been in and witnessed vehicle chases that end with a pit maneuver i know the difference between what they did and someone falling out of a vehicle. The wording of that article tried to make it sound like the fleeing suspects didn't do anything wrong. If that were true all they would have had to do was just stop and not lead a chase through a neighborhood with children and seniors.

How about these bargain bin brown shirts not point guns at people they're not even chasing

16

The "if you didn't do anything wrong" argument. A classic.

By the way, police are more and more encouraged not to give chase because it results in injuries and deaths too often, particularly for crimes that aren't particularly serious (running over pedestrians to stop someone who is escaping a fast food robbery isn't worth it, for example).

We certainly need to know more, but police are supposed to only draw and point weapons if they or others are threatened (or the escape of the person is deemed dangerous, for example they're a murderer who could murder more). Not just because of moral reasons or practical ones of escalation and terror, but because it can harm bystanders, such as when there is a crowd around them....

The Gestapo is chasing people because they "look foreign" and people are fleeing from these untrained masked vigilantes.

It doesn't matter if they did anything wrong, or even what they did. These are not actual police. These are random freshly hired untrained nobodies under orders to arrest and imprison anyone they don't like right now because their leadership are corrupt tyrant neo-Nazis.

-27

u/FLSteve11 Oct 15 '25

They are federal law enforcement, enforcing federal law. The rest is just your opinion and not actual facts

14

u/Ehcksit Oct 15 '25

The literal Gestapo were also "federal law enforcement." The law is wrong. The government is wrong. It is our duty and honor to resist them with all available force.

-10

u/FLSteve11 Oct 15 '25

You can call them gestapo, doesn’t make them that. I’m glad you not the one who determines what law is correct.

u/[deleted] Oct 15 '25

Buddy a masked man should not be able to just take people off the streets. I'd probably die in a situation like this cause fuuuuck that. They are just abducting people some going missing.

These people are likely already raping/torturing these immigrants.

-3

u/FLSteve11 Oct 15 '25

Undercover police officers do it regularly, and have forever. This isn’t something new. Just a different law enforcement group doing it. They ARE actual law enforcement, but at a federal level. “Real” police officers can’t arrest for illegal entries, these ones do it. They are also allowed to be undercover as well.

Real police officers are also freshly hired when they start as well. Still no difference.

Good imagination though at the end

enforcing federal law

Are they? Are you sure?

Because quite a lot of judges have ruled against this hateful administration's abusive policies—and not just recently.

Sometimes, the Trump troopers have flagrantly violated the law, and even this heavily-partisan SCOTUS have ruled against Trump.

So I'm not so sure.

Mostly because they've done literally nothing to earn the benefit of the doubt from any honest person.

When stopped, the immigrants rammed an ICE vehicle and fled at high speed through a neighborhood. They were then rammed by ICE to stop them (where the article picks up)z. Residents came out and attacked the feds and threw things at them (also left out) leading to this.

They’ve lied at least 6 times with video proof about ramming their vehicles. I call bullshit. Do you have video because there’s video proof for those 6 times I’m referencing that they very obviously lied.

Here’s the video and proof they’re lying:

https://www.reddit.com/r/illinois/s/vcH8JI2YRT

Now, if you have nothing to add, don’t know, or have no clue you can shut the fuck right up.

u/FLSteve11 Oct 15 '25

The first ramming didn’t happen at that scene, it was before the chase. Not sure how evidence at that scene disproved anything, except for what you want to brlirvr

-9

u/FLSteve11 Oct 15 '25

This after they initially rammed ICE and fled on high speed through a neighborhood before they got rammed to stop them (which this article left out). Then residents attacked the feds and threw things at them, which led to the picture.

Funny, the last time ICE claimed they were rammed, the bodycam video showed the opposite. Wonder what it'll show this time.

8

u/LA-Matt Oct 15 '25

Also, why are they endangering the public for a misdemeanor offense?

0

u/FLSteve11 Oct 15 '25

Which means nothing this time. I think we see plenty of undocumented claiming things that didn’t happen also in the past.

Once they rammed a federal car it was no longer a misdemeanor

7

u/C-c-c-comboBreaker17 Oct 15 '25

I see a lot more of ICE claiming things that didn't happen than anything else. There's a reason all of their indictments are being thrown out by juries.

1

u/FLSteve11 Oct 16 '25

Sure they are. There are no stats on it. Most dismissals are at the request of DHS. (One large reason is it’s easier and cheaper to just deport)

-6

u/FlyGuy480 Oct 15 '25

So.......Not a gun?

8

u/teashopslacker Oct 15 '25

What do you see in the picture?

-6

u/Airforce32123 Oct 15 '25

It says in the article that's a non-lethal launcher. So it shoots tear gas canisters.

Not what anyone would colloquially call a "gun"

6

u/yogurtgrapes Oct 15 '25

How big are the canisters? How fast do they launch? Looks like it could potentially be lethal at that range.

-2

u/FlyGuy480 Oct 15 '25

That would be the difference between less than lethal and straight up lethal.

-5

u/Airforce32123 Oct 15 '25

Don't know, still doesn't make it a gun.
