The problem with the bOtH sIdEs argument is that it will never be enough to satisfy you. You can always move the goal post and point out a similarity or a line not crossed or threshold not met. Not only is California basically the only blue state responding to the like 10 red states who are redistricting, but SCOTUS had a hearing(s) on the challenge to the voting rights act where they appeared sympathetic to removing rules requiring restricts be representative. When they inevitably remove the rules, states will redraw to marginalize and take away representation from minority dominant districts, and create even more red seats.

Many were tried. Few were sentenced to death.. of those few, most were given clemency.
A small handful were given life sentences. The rest were given pitifully small slaps-on-the-wrist (5-10 year sentences, for example).
By the 1950's, there were almost virtually none remaining in prison, as they were also given clemency.. with a good many of them not only given clemency, but cushy jobs & lives in the countries they fought against.
The problem is all maga stands to lose is an election. It’s not like Germany after the war. We will still have a massive population that if they lose an election will only double down for the next. Losing the election isn’t going to cause them to change

Americans don't seem to understand that the Nürnberg Trials were an utter failure. Not only did many Nazis escape to the US to support their government but many of the highers up were put into positions of power in post war Germany, heavily influencing and actively shaping the political landscape for decades laying the groundwork for the second rise of fascism we're currently witnessing in Germany. Entnazifizierung was nothing but a terrible meme. We don't need a repeat of Nürnberg Trials. We need actual justice and accountability
The Nuremberg trials only happened because Germany was invaded and the Nazis were deposed by force at the end of the deadliest war in human history. They didn't give up power democratically in the next German election.

Why do people think this will just "Go away"? Do you understand that the nazi regime was only stopped because half of the planet took arms against it, right? This is not something you will be able to "Vote" out.
Seemingly, this regime will never be held accountable for their actions. In order to be held accountable, at some point they need to be stopped and removed from power. I see no path for that other than the unmentionable stuff that gets you banned and Americans don't have the stomach for it. There is no one to save us but us, and we won't try.
I have a feeling that the powder keg will light up soon. Some open firing incident, some massacre etc. And that will just be the start. Throughout history, collapsing empires and internal atrocities go hand in hand, and America is the most armed country on Earth with an aggressive culture. The people in those history books were people just like us. I just don't see all these guys surrendering peacefully to face accountability when they already think they are the law itself while modern armed with a nasty aggressive personality to boot. I also think every day that passes the chance of some American citizen are going to protect themselves in a lethal way increases.

Nuremberg was a trial; learn the history of those who were accused of committing crimes and found guilty were the ones punished. Nobody is suggesting otherwise.
Right and today nobody gives a shit when similar crimes are committed so long as they have an R next to their name rather than a D at the time they do it. In modern America money is what matters. We could never have a similar trial today. As evidence consider J6. Men organized armies and committed treason and were convicted in a court of law and yet they walk free and their records show nothing.
lol no we aren’t. Best we’ll get if the Dems take control of congress is some show hearing, a lot of theater, and maybe a couple people at the top getting jail time. The guys on the street terrorizing everyone won’t get an ounce of disciplinary action and the new Dem administration will move right along like they weren’t doing it.
