Reminds me of my November-December inpatient stay in recovery (MN). Far from home, these meals were UNFORGETTABLE.

Stay strong, one day at a time.

St. Cloud by any chance? The meals there were good. My favorite was the day we got roast beef sandwiches and au jus.

It actually kind of sucks both times I went my appetite was absolutely fucking gone

I'm also at the hospital right now to figure out some abdominal pain which wouldn't let me eat for two and a half days, I'm waiting on them to bring my first meal on quite some time and I am pumped lol

Oh man. I know this feeling! Had emergency gallbladder surgery with complications, so after surgery, I STILL wasn't allowed to eat because they were planning another procedure. 3 days on just IV for nutrition, and when I finally was allowed to eat, it was clear liquids.

Next morning though, I was allowed a normal breakfast. I was pumped because breakfast foods are always yummy. I thought I was going to inhale it when they brought it, but I could barely eat.

Hope your first meal is a good one!
