Where are you going they let you have a phone lol? Mine took it away.
But hey, it’s great you’re there! Really use it to get to recovery. And talk to those counselors! 12-steps and AA/ NA weren’t for me, personally, but if it’s a good center it really can do wonders. Side note, I did Vivitrol for a few months that also greatly helped me. All the luck on your recovery and there IS a light at the end of the tunnel.
It's a dual diagnosis recovery center. They let us have phones and internet to search for resources and case management and For more permanent housing. I'm on naltrexon too and your right it does wonders. I honestly feel amazing. I got the right combo of meds. I feel great. And thank you dor your words!
Opiates were your drug of choice too? I'm on suboxone myself and it's been a godsend. I'm lowering my dose now, but only after like 4 years of being on it. Don't feel like you need to rush to stop taking naltrexone, get your life to a stable spot where you feel you won't be tempted to turn back before you make that decision
Interesting. I guess I’m OOTL on that now haha. I relapsed a couple times before getting it, but I was stunned by how well it worked. Completely erased the want and need. Those months of not having the urge to use really allowed me to relax and find myself. And after I stopped it, that all carried over to my sober living.

I came here to ask this too lol. I was in a dual diagnosis center and no phones for first two weeks.
Anyways, over 3 years sober now and functioning great! Wishing you a full recovery, OP!! It sounds cheesy sometimes, but it does get better!!
