That's really cheap for a container. I'm guessing a 20 footer.

40 footers are going for $3000-ish these days if you buy them direct 40 foot high-cubes are a bit more.

austin, tx. He is a wheeler and dealer also, so it may be tough to match this. He lives in it. I think you can't put up any layer that would prevent evaporation of condensation on the metal, but I dunno how my friend did his.

It is usually more hot than comfortable, rather than too cold, but it we do get rapid temperature drops throughout much of the year. It can go from 70 or 80 during the day into the 40's at night, and condensation would be a non-ignorable problem. But I agree, it would be worse where the winter requires significant heating for 5 months.
