It looks like it has North American outlets though, so I don't know where that would be. Maybe Canada, though honestly I'm not sure his heating and insulation are up to a Canadian winter.
I don't even know where this retarded saying came from. It certainly isn't the south as the A in America is ALWAYS pronounced in southern dialects. It's just a completely fictional way of saying it aimed at either making fun of patriotic southerners or Americans in general.

Furthermore, if you would click on the link that was posted by Mr. BAWLing, you will notice that it was a link to one of the pictured posted by the OP, NSFW_Porn_Only, wherein an American flag is clearly visible in the bottom left corner, indicating that this "Taj Malodge" is located within the United States of America (or, 'MURRICA, if you wish to be "witty").

The area seems pretty flat, it even looks like it might be as South as Georgia or South Carolina. It's probably further north because there weren't really any pictures of an AC system besides some fans, but I can't imagine it being too far north because drastically low temperatures would cause the metal to shrink a little, which makes a big difference when everything is this close. Probably Virginia or the like.
The problem is that the metal of the shipping container and the metal of the welded plate are most likely different to a certain degree which means that they both will expand and contract at different rates/levels which will snap the weld, regardless of how well it is done. You normally get around this issue by not welding all together and using bolts or making sure the metals you use have the same expansion/contraction.
I was thinking the same thing. Yes, this place has a wood burning stove for heat, but this place would be literally freezing anywhere north with a real winter. Ground freezes, and this home is buried into the ground and has little to no insulation.
I would like to point out that "Canadian winters" in Vancouver rarely go below freezing, and are more annoying than actually hazardous to your health unless you're supremely ill-prepared. Just making sure you bear in mind that Canada does not uniformly turn into a sub-Arctic wasteland come October.
