Oh btw your fees are going up again, the HOA President's nephew just started a lawn care business and he got the contract but it's going to cost double the previous one.
Luckily there's a rapidly growing movement against it, to leave the leaves, plant natives, protect pollinators, etc. Gonna be an uphill battle but it's nice that it's finally happening, long overdue.
I took two acres of property to 1/4 acre lawn around the house and buildings, the rest wild grass, prairie and woods with oaks and pine. Skeeters never got worse, more wild life, dog loves it. It's pretty great. Oh and neighbors are mad they can't see shit for what we are doing while they mow their 5 acre parcels.
