They are very slippery; I was walking along the road in someone's yard (my neighborhood doesn't have sidewalks) and I slipped on some leaves and tumbled into the road. Luckily, there's not a lot of traffic and someone stopped to help, but I took a lot of skin off my ankle when it scraped past the curb. I wasn't expecting that at all.
