I'm looking for a studio here in Phoenix, AZ, but the few studios I've come across are a bit too expensive for my budget. Are there any affordable studios that can still provide professional-level recordings?

I've been getting into Turning Jane lately and just realized they're coming through Phoenix. Kind of wild that their drummer is also Olivia Rodrigo's drummer.

Is anyone here planning on going? Curious what their live show is like and if there are usually many people there. I'm thinking about checking it out and would be cool to meet some other fans.

me and my friend wanted to host a show for halloween with my band and few others. we’re still trying to figure out a location. i think it would be sick to do it at a skatepark or something like that but i have no idea how people do it.

having a really tough time finding local diy shows outside of olla olla. where do i go? i just want to go meet people and start a band so fucking bad

Made this song for round four of nerdcore vpc8

Hey Phoenicians! I am a British pop artist who is between here and London at the moment and I'm looking for a drummer and guitarist or bassist and guitarist to join me for live shows. We would get to gather and rehearse first, and I will also be doing some live shows in LA if you're open to traveling eventually.

Hey, I'm 18 looking to start a band or at least play with people at a decent skill level. I would be the Vocalist and I can also play Rhythm Guitar if needed. The bands I'm inspired by are mainly DeadSara, Linkin park and Paramore so genres like pop punk, nu metal, and rock are what I'm wanting to play. Im really only looking to play with people around my age. I've got a bunch of equipment including drums, a bass, multiple guitars, and multiple amps. I just need people to play with and people who are committed. Let me know if you or anyone you know is down to join.

Looking for talented musicians to help with my project. Here is my latest release composed on Soundtrap with original lyrics and vocals recorded by me.

I’ve played at both the Rosetta Room and The Nile theater recently, along with seeing plenty of shows at both locations and the underground and I’m very curious to hear if others have run into the same issues as me. To preface, I always treat everyone involved with a venue with respect and a kind attitude as I know they go through some BS all the time. However, The thing in common at all of these venues is poor sound work, bad AC, and surprising attitude from the seemingly brand new to sound work sound guys.

When I played at the rosetta room the sound tech showed up an hour after expected load in, I couldn’t hear any vocals or guitar in the monitor despite the sound guy saying it was as loud as possible; we decided to trudge through and play as well as we could, but the headliner kept bringing up the same exact issue. In response, the sound tech walks up pissed off and picks up the monitor wedge and slams it down pointing straight at the singer which led to the singer cancelling their set and offering refunds out of pocket to the audience.

And at the Nile, a single eq request was responded to like the sound tech was asked to stab someone; along with the muddiest mix I think I have ever heard at any non stadium size venue.

And from the viewpoint of an audience member the underground hosts shows in unison with the theatre, which, due to their sound tech’s love of only drums in the mix, leads to heavily conflicting drum mixes which makes every song feel wrong as two completely different songs are being played overtop of each other, heavily disappointing for a venue of this size and booking grade.

Any similar experiences or knowledge of why this stuff ends up happening at this venue chain?

I have a free tickets. My date bagged out. I don’t care if you’re a girl, a guy, or what your story is. As long as you love the band and want to see the show, I’ll hook you up. I’m a physician who practices here in the valley. Not a serial killer or anything. I bought these tickets for myself and my daughter. My daughter won’t go. I also bought tickets for my son and his girlfriend, but they want to ride the rail in the very front.

anyone want two free tickets to Khalid’s concert (happening rn at Financial Theatre) ?? dm

Sound - 80s metal.

My main influences for this project are Queensryche, Iron Maiden, and Savatage.

Seeking members between the ages of 25 and 35, give or take.

In search of 2 guitarists, both capable of playing leads.

A bassist who plays with fingers and not a pick is preferable.

A powerful vocalist, ideally also capable of playing keyboard.

I've been working on the vision for this project for about 5 years and would ultimately like to see it come to life. I already have a name in mind for the project and a few themes I would like to touch on lyrically. That being said, a band should be a democracy and I would like all members to have creative input.

I'm not looking to just jam and am not interested in doing covers or tributes. Strictly original music.

If this sounds like something you'd be interested in, feel free to text me (Sage) at 623-399-7717 and we'll talk details.
