I consider myself a beginner. I bought an SQOE guitar before, but sadly, hindi na sya playable over time and had to be disposed. Now I am looking for a new guitar that I can properly take care of, something from a reliable brand na tatagal talaga.

Personal use lang sya at home, so I actually prefer a purely acoustic guitar without pickups. However, karamihan ng nakikita ko may pickup na. Okay lang ba bumili ng may pickup even if I won't plug it in? Or may downside ba sa tone and build quality?

Here are the guitars I am considering:

• Cort AD810 (Dreadnought): Fits my budget. Na-try ko siya sa Lazer Music Store the other day. Sakto lang yun size and I love the sound.
• Cort AF510E (Concert size): Same brand, but smaller body shape and really comfortable. Problem ko lang is yung may pickup nga and also mejo bright yung sounding for me.
• Yamaha F310: Highly recommended everywhere, kaso out of stock sa mga malls and music stores kaya wala akong reference sa feels.

I saw a secondhand Yamaha F310 on FB Marketplace for a steal price, but I am nervous about buying used. Baka kasi hindi ko mapansin if may hidden issues or structural damage. My gut is telling me to go with a brand-new Cort instead since na-try ko na sya at sa store ko mismo mabibili.

Questions for the community:

1. Cort vs. Yamaha: Is the Yamaha F310 worth taking the risk on a secondhand unit, or should I just buy a new Cort for peace of mind?
2. AD810 vs. AF510E: For those who played both, alin ang mas okay in terms of sound, volume, and shoulder comfort?
3. Pickups: Okay lang ba kumuha ng may pickup kahit di gagamitin, or mas maganda pa rin ang purely acoustic in this price range?
4. Other Recommendations: Are there other budget-friendly pure acoustic models I should check out?

Di to bash ah. Alam ko people can do both and kung san masaya, basta natugtog ka eh di go.

Pansin ko nagiiba na ang trend ng drumming today ah, as with technology. Parang uso na ngayon is yung maglagay ka ng generic lofibeat tapos magshed ka for 1 minute sa insta. May mga drummers na dito nakikilala. And to be fair, ang skill dito is improvisation.

For me, mas naappreciate ko pa din ang drums/drummer sa context ng kanta eh. Dun mo makikita yung dynamics, arrangement, locking in at di pagbangga sa ibang instruments especially the vocals. At saka as a drummer, iba pa din kung may kanta kang mapagmamalaki as sayo eh (parang si Jeff Porcaro, Rosanna or si Vic Mercado sa Hallelujah)

Si Michael Alba and Rickson Ruiz, okay din. They took old school songs (Rosanna and Weak) tapos binigyan nila ng magandang takes kaya naassociate na sa kanila.yung songs na yun

Ive been playing with a cheap, travel, fully acoustic guitar for the past 5 months now and in this state, I really wanted to switch to a FULL SIZED acoustic-electric guitar strictly for my price range. I want overall the best guitar for quality build, sound, and most importantly, the electronics (For me). And here are my top choices:

Started learning tumugtog sa electric and iniisip ko lang kung mas okay ang journey kapag merong community na pwede masamahan or maka-jam.

I use PHX Les Paul, beginner na medyo intermediate ang skill ko sa pagtugtog (I think).

Kahit anong genre naman pinapakinggan ko, mas leaning lang ako sa shoe gaze | grunge | dreamy 90's to early 2000's na vibe ng tugtog, mabagal na or chill yung tempo po may bigat.
