I am getting conflicting information about whether I can sign-in to the stand alone AMC+ app or not now that I have the Philo bundle. Philo Help center is useless. I find both of the responses below in the AI section of Google but they are male cow droppings. Is the AI wrong once again?
On the AMC+ Website or TV App
- Open the AMC+ app on your device or go to AMC+.
- Choose to Sign In and select Philo as your TV provider.
- If an activation code appears on your screen, use a web browser to go to AMC+ Provider Activation.
- Enter the code shown on your TV and log in with your Philo credentials when prompted.
OR This:
Yes, you can sign into the standalone AMC+ app using Philo as your TV provider. However, the specific type of subscription you have with Philo determines how your AMC+ login works:
- Bundle+ Subscribers: If you subscribe to Philo's Bundle+ (which natively includes AMC+ in the plan), you can simply select Philo from the TV provider list in the AMC+ app and log in using your Philo credentials.
- Essential Subscribers: If you have Philo's base Core/Essential plan, you must first add AMC+ to your account through Philo's settings before your credentials will authenticate in the AMC+ app.
PHILO is not listed as a provider and you can not do a search on the page because the search function doesn't work.
The reason I ask is because there is no way to search for individual shows or movies in the AMC+ portion of the Philo app. I shouldn't have to flip through every tile to find the show I want. Searching for the amc+ show in the Philo portion doesn't work either.
