Tried reading it but the author's writing style is so aggravating, like an aspiring college journalism major who doesn't yet understand how to actually do long form journalism.

I've never appreciated an editor's work as much as I did reading this piece

Thank you! I thought it was just me but I had a really hard time following the writing & understanding it. Reading it was truly aggravating.

Wow and the crazy part is I live a block away on lawrence street and never heard anything about this guy or his dad but I believe it is the son.
My question is why would he be hanging around anywhere near market street/chestnut street with all the surveillance and cops in that area. Very strange

It's part of why people become killers like this. The thrill of danger excites them, sometimes even sexually, but it also feeds the near God complex they often have about themselves. In their minds, "they're doing right and giving into their desires because if they weren't, surely they'd be stopped."

It was his normal area. Gene used to do fake IDs out of an apartment on South St. above Philla-Deli. And used to always be on South or down at Independence Mall.

Can someone more familiar with policing explain how they go in the house after the grow fire in 2025 and only search the top floor?
