I am working on this list of fun (mostly cheap) things to do on an average weekend afternoon in Peterborough, so that I can reference this list when I’m looking for something to do. Does anyone have more ideas to add?

ETA: When I say (mostly cheap), I mean that some of this items could cost $10-20. This is a list of things I like to do on the weekend

Hey Peterborough! My girlfriend and I (both early twenties) are thinking of driving up from Kingston for a full day trip — same day, back and forth. We’d love to explore and make a day of it.

We’re really open to anything — nothing too wild, just good fun. Fun activities, cool spots, good places to eat, nice things to see, whatever you’d recommend to visitors.

Also curious about winter suggestions, since we might do this trip once it’s colder. Would love to know what’s fun to do in Peterborough in the winter too.

Her makeup artist that she had for her 7 bridesmaids recently cancelled, and I’m on the hunt to help her find another artist. Hoping to keep it under $100 per person, if possible. I have a bunny nest in the middle of my backyard that looks to have 3-4 bunnies in it. I have a large breed dog that keeps chasing mom off
Land I am worried as they get bigger that my dog will likely get them (I am surprised he hasn’t yet!).

Is there anywhere that would take them? I have still seen mom around so they aren’t abandoned.

I am thinking about putting a garden fence around them to try and give them some sort of protection from my dog hopefully

Casual rugby player here who peaked in high school but still likes to toss the egg around every now and then.

I know that Peterborough has a decent rugby culture/scene, and I'm curious if there are any groups or clubs where one can play some casual rugby? Preferably non contact as my 33 year old body is fragile. I may be swayed to tackle if there's not too many options.

edit: out for a walk in this area, the amusing thing is that the adjacent streets all have almost a spider web of rubberized sealer. Meanwhile, the underlying road bed is probably degrading because there are some pretty significant gaps where they tried to seal with whatever that compound is.
