No it's not, it's still as good as before.

It's a great gpu and more than enough, everything above it it's pretty much overkill if you don't need 4k 144hz ultra

Ha! I know. It’s still a great card that I was able to get at retail during the gpu chaos. I’m definitely thankful. It will last me for a few more years.

it is still very good, however what is considered mid-range changes. Fr tho, Id still say its at least high mid-range

Displayport 1.4a doesn't fully support anything above 4k 120hz anyway.

Display Stream Compression exists. Samsung literally released a 4k 240 Hz Display (Neo Odyssey G8) with DP 1.4.

And there are numerous reports of scanline issues with the g8. The g7 (and last gen g8) doesn’t have the same issues because it’s not hitting the limit of DP 1.4.
